About the job
- A UK-qualified Pharmacy dispenser.
- Experience working in a pharmacy dispensary in a primary and/or secondary environment.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to identify errors quickly.
- Patience and the ability to remain calm during stressful situations.
- Strong communication with staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
- Professional, ethical conduct and commitment to customer care.
- Computer literacy and working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Receive and validate prescriptions in preparation for a clinical check.
- Process patient information appropriately.
- Support the Responsible Pharmacist and Technicians in daily pharmacy operations.
- Serve as the first point of contact for pharmacy queries.
- Maintain relevant records for the supply of CMBP.
- Maintain on-site stock and security of CMBP.
- Maintain communication of prescriptions to the Department of Health to meet regulatory requirements.
- Support pharmacy governance to help ensure the pharmacy operates safely.
- Completion of a CPD-accredited medical cannabis educational programme is desirable; the programme will be provided for the successful candidate.
