- Strong understanding of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and general maintenance.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and other building systems.
- Ability to complete all work orders within 24-48 hours.
- Ability to complete apartment turnovers within the first 7 days after move-out, including painting, repairs and improvements, and turnover cleaning.
- Ability to communicate professionally and clearly with residents, colleagues, and contractors.
- A proactive approach to regularly inspecting buildings and identifying potential maintenance needs.
- Willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment, assist other technicians when needed, and share knowledge and expertise.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Availability for a 24/7 on-call rotation one week out of every five weeks, including responding to emergency maintenance repairs after working hours.
- Address repair requests and perform routine inspections.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of buildings and apartments.
- Complete work orders within the required timeframe.
- Perform apartment turnovers, including painting, repairs and improvements, and turnover cleaning.
- Respond to emergency maintenance repairs during assigned after-hours on-call shifts.
