TheSenior Manager, Resource Managementwill play an integral role in theService Operations and Supportteam that’s part of thePost SalesOperations department.ThePost SalesOperations departmentis focused ondrivingAnthology’s core strategy of operational efficiency by innovating, streamlining, and implementing world-class tools and business processes across theGlobal Services and Supportorganization.
Primary responsibilitieswillinclude:
- Developing andestablishingacentralized RMO (Resource Management Office) ensuring thatcentralizedresourcemanagementis supported across different business areas
- Defining and coordinatingthe introduction and implementation of new Resource Management tools, infrastructure,reports,and processes
- Becoming a trusted advisorto multiple teams(PMO, Delivery Managers, IT, Finance,etc.) toestablish policiesand procedures anddrivevariousinitiativeswhileensuringproperchange management
- Driving a positive work environment across all levels within the organization
- Leadingand mentoringa team of resource coordinators
- Managing the production of regular service deliveryoperations overviews giving vital resource information (allocation, assignments, resource conflicts, resource needs, training needs/opportunities) to deliveryoperations leadership
- Managing and providing workforce planning to ensure proper capacity including analysis of salespipeline, existing work, and backlogitems
- Providing workload balancing, prioritization, resource scheduling, and integration of resources into multiple projectstomaintain optimal utilization of resources
- Working with Delivery leadership to define, track, and monitor individualconsultant’scapabilitiesand work with Project Management team to properly utilize this data withinresource request processes
- Ensuring that resource allocation, availability and forecast overviews are accurate and up-to-date and completed in a timely manner
- Managingstaffing conflicts and leading successful negotiations to ensure proper staffing support
The Candidate:
Requiredskills/qualifications:
- At least 3-5 yearsof experience in leading an RMO
- At least 5-7years’ experiencein resource management; project-based IT services or professional services experience highly preferred
- Strong communication and collaborative skillsacross all levels of an organization
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Flexiblewithgood decision-making, conflict-resolution,and problem-solving skills
- Continuous Improvement mindset – always looking for efficiencies and effective solutions
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a global team
Preferred skills/qualifications:
- Experience with Kantata SX (Kimble) or similar PSA tool
- Experience with Microsoft Excel andotherMicrosoft tools
- Experience buildingSalesforcereportsand analyzing data
- Knowledge of consulting project methodology
