ISO Full-Time Nanny/Caregiver

Job Description

Ultimately, you’ll reassure parents that, even when they’re not around, their children remain in a safe and pleasant environment.  One parent typically home Daily and at least once per month we go to the theater (typically a weekday) - weekends maybe but rarely.  One Pet Dog.  Standard work schedule shall/can/will be MONDAY thru FRIDAY.

Compensation & Performance:  Employee’s Regular Weekly compensation will be based on a standard hours per week. In some cases, the standard work hours shall be amended to accommodate the closed or out of session school days to standard hours. The employee will be paid weekly (depending which day is the end of the work week) with appropriate Federal/State Deductions made through accommodations for IRS Tax Withholding.

NANNY/CAREGIVER RESPONSIBILITIES: For providing safe/nurturing care to 2 children - Boys.  Parents employ on a live-out basis.  The Nanny/Caregiver will have full-time work - per week.  There is no set of specific academic requirements to be a Full-Time Nanny/Caregiver.

PAID VACATION/LEAVE:  Work-life balance is important and this job also provides paid vacations and days sick leave annually.  Also for periods where the family is on vacation but the nanny is available to work, the nanny shall still receive their regular weekly salary.  The Nanny/Caregiver is not required to travel with the family but may be asked to accompany family on out of town/country travels so a passport may be necessary.

Formal training would be preferred but can be superseded by or extensive experience – a good recommendation is that candidates have work experience as babysitters or had worked for a daycare center, or in early childhood education.  Other useful points for this area is having a high school graduate or college degree, experience or training in CPR and first aid programs, no criminal record, a clean driving license, and a reliable vehicle.  Family Description: Looking for help from a Live-Out Nanny

NANNY DUTIES INCLUDE:  Nanny/Caregiver duties and related pick up/drop off, cleaning and cooking tasks, preparing meals, study/homework assistance, hygiene, manners, and childhood development activities (manners, respect for self and others, integrity, empathy, ethics, hard work, sustainable futures) help children.

• Assisting With Daily Hygiene and Bedtime Routines
• Cooking For Our Kids (2 Boys)
• Engaging In Fun, Creative & (Some) Educational Activities
• Ensure Children’s Safety during Indoors and Outdoors Activities
• Ensuring They Take Daily Baths and Other Hygiene Activities
• Flex Evening Hours When Necessary
• Health And Wellness Including Administering Authorized Medications; Etc.
• Helping With Homework
• Kids Laundry and Cleaning Work/Play Areas - Maintaining Clean Bed Made Rooms and Play Areas
• Often Attending or Meeting Parents at Activities (Basketball/Swimming/Soccer); Packing and Preparing Travel Bags (Meals | School Workbooks | Sports Equipment);
• Organizing Creative Activities and Educational Games (E.G., Drawing, Crafting, and Puppet Games)
• Perform Other Light Housekeeping Tasks Related To the Children As Needed
• Planning Meals, Cooking and Preparing Healthy Kids’ Meals and Feeding Them
• Reading To and With the Children and Helping with Daily Homework
• Running Errands (Rarely)
• School Pick-Up/Drop-Offs - Sometimes Taking Them to School
• Take Care of Children In Case Of Injury or Illness
• Teach Children Appropriate Social Behaviors, Such As Being Respectful To Each Other and Helping Out with Chores
• Tidy up Play Areas and Children’s Rooms
• Transport Children To and From School and Extracurricular Activities
• Transports from School or After School Activities to Home
• Work with Parents to Ensure Children’s Growth and Social Development

Qualifications

• A Clean Driving License and Transportation- Must have a clean background check and excellent driving record. You must also have your own suitable, reliable transportation.

NANNY/CAREGIVER WILL NEED TO PROVIDE:  Prefer a Full-Time Nanny/Caregiver who has their own car, who does not smoke, who is comfortable with pets and who is CPR certified.
