Responsibilities
Assist project managers with day-to-day execution of assigned projects from kickoff through closeout activities.
Support project initiation by organizing scope documents, contract files, submittals, and execution plans.
Prepare, distribute, and track project documentation, including requests for information, submittals, meeting minutes, and action-item logs.
Read and navigate contract documents, drawings, and technical documentation with project manager guidance.
Flag issues, open questions, and potential constraints to the supervising project manager.
Track labor, material, and subcontractor costs against project budgets.
Maintain cost logs, purchase order records, and forecasting spreadsheets.
Prepare change order documentation and backup materials for project manager and client review.
Update project schedules and milestone trackers under project manager direction.
Monitor progress against schedule and compile status inputs from field and internal teams.
Prepare weekly status reports, dashboards, and lookahead summaries.
Attend project meetings with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams; capture and distribute minutes and action items.
Coordinate meeting logistics, agendas, and follow-ups.
Communicate with internal team members and, as appropriate, external stakeholders.
Participate in structured onboarding, mentorship check-ins, and training on company tools and standards.
Complete an end-of-term project or presentation summarizing work performed and lessons learned.

JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager Intern supports the delivery of projects for mission-critical construction and infrastructure programs while gaining hands-on exposure to how a Master Systems Integrator plans, executes, and closes out complex technical work.
Working under the direct guidance of an experienced Project Manager, the intern assists with project documentation, scheduling, cost tracking, meeting coordination, and stakeholder communication. This role is designed to build practical project management skills in a real production environment — the intern contributes to live project deliverables while learning the standards, tools, and workflows used across our programs.
The intern is expected to bring strong organization, curiosity, and attention to detail, and will receive structured mentorship, regular feedback, and increasing responsibility over the course of the internship.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Project Execution Support (40%)
Assist Project Managers with day-to-day execution of assigned projects, from kickoff through closeout activities
Support project initiation tasks such as organizing scope documents, contract files, submittals, and execution plans
Help prepare, distribute, and track project documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and action-item logs
Learn to read and navigate contract documents, drawings, and technical documentation with PM guidance
Flag issues, open questions, and potential constraints to the supervising Project Manager promptly
Financial & Change Management Support (20%)
Assist with tracking labor, material, and subcontractor costs against project budgets
Help maintain cost logs, purchase order records, and forecasting spreadsheets
Support preparation of change order documentation and backup materials for PM and client review
Learn the fundamentals of project financial reporting and margin management through hands-on assignments
Schedule & Reporting Support (20%)
Assist in updating project schedules and milestone trackers under PM direction
Help monitor progress against schedule and compile status inputs from field and internal teams
Support preparation of weekly status reports, dashboards, and lookahead summaries
Learn how risks are identified, logged, and mitigated on active projects
Meeting & Stakeholder Coordination (15%)
Attend project meetings with clients, GCs, subcontractors, and internal teams; capture and distribute minutes and action items
Help coordinate meeting logistics, agendas, and follow-ups
