Requirements
  • Knowledge of intelligence, plans, and operations, including Joint and Service-specific targeting and planning processes.
  • Knowledge of full-spectrum cyberspace operations, including mission planning and execution under Title 50 and Title 10 authorities.
  • Knowledge of Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE).
  • Knowledge of the Joint Targeting Cycle (JTC).
  • Knowledge of the Joint Planning Process (JPP).
  • Knowledge of strike and mission packages developed to support offensive cyberspace operations.
  • Knowledge of cyber infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of IKE/JCC2.
  • Knowledge of cyber schemes of maneuver at the technical and operational levels.
  • Knowledge of Joint and interagency organizations involved in offensive cyberspace operations.
  • Knowledge of the relationship between the National Security Agency and United States Cyber Command.
  • Knowledge of how cyberspace operations are conducted.
  • At least two years of experience instructing full-length instructional and training material.
  • Experience within, service in, or assignment to the Cyber Mission Force at the Combat Mission Team, National Mission Team, or component subordinate headquarters staff level.
  • At least two years of military, civilian, or contractor experience conducting offensive cyberspace operations as part of United States Cyber Command or a service component cyber command directly supporting a combatant command or joint task force headquarters.
  • Experience as a Mission Commander for a Combat Mission Team or National Mission Team, Operations Officer for a Combat Mission Team or National Mission Team, Cyber Operational Planner at elements within the Cyber Mission Force, Team Lead, or Deputy Team Lead.
Responsibilities
  • Lead high-level training for the Mission Commander Course.
  • Prepare leaders to oversee complex offensive cyberspace operations.
  • Synchronize intelligence, planning, and execution within the Cyber Mission Force.
Desired Qualifications
  • Graduation from the Mission Commander Course.
  • Direct Mission Commander experience.
  • Direct signals intelligence experience emphasizing computer network operations and/or digital network intelligence.
