Requirements
  • Experience directly interfacing with client senior management.
  • Knowledge of program and project management practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience supporting programs and projects through analysis, tracking, monitoring, assessment, review, and coordination.
  • Comprehensive professional knowledge of engineering principles and fundamentals.
  • Significant experience using Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to use a computer to communicate via email.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe tools.
  • Eligibility for Facility Access Authorization, also referred to as Employment Authorization, by the designated United States Government security office.
  • United States citizenship is required.
  • Ability to submit to and qualify for background investigative requirements up to a Top Secret or Department of Energy Q clearance.
  • Ability to complete a Financial Disclosure Statement if required.
  • Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years.
  • Ability to produce thorough, accurate, appropriately documented work products that comply with established criteria and meet milestones and delivery schedules.
  • Ability to maintain proficiencies through periodic training in HGET, WTP site access, the Computerized Maintenance Management System, SmartPlant Foundation, SmartPlant for Operations, WTP site qualifications including lockout/tagout, and Radworker training.
  • Knowledge of DOE O 422.1, Conduct of Operations; DOE O 433.1B, Maintenance Management Program for DOE Nuclear Facilities; and DOE O 426.2, Training, Qualification, and Certification Requirements.
  • Experience overseeing or performing operations, maintenance, or training programs or processes in a nuclear facility.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Provide operations and training technical support services to the United States Department of Energy Office of River Protection Waste Treatment Operations Division at the Hanford Site.
  • Oversee operations procedure and procedure development programs, including Standard Operating Manuals, Alarm Response Procedures, Abnormal Operating Procedures, and Emergency Operating Procedures.
  • Oversee contractor activities to prepare for and operate the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Project, including establishing procedures, ensuring individuals are appropriately qualified, confirming adequate staffing and allocation, and verifying that systems support operations.
  • Coordinate identified issues with ORP engineering, regulatory, and other support staff.
  • Prepare assessment reports and technical reports.
  • Participate in weekly coordination meetings.
  • Perform document oversight to identify compliance deviations and improvement opportunities in accordance with ORP management system procedures.
  • Oversee procedure program development and the execution of operations procedures and philosophy.
  • Participate on Integrated Project Teams as requested.
  • Perform physical inspection walkdowns of the plant to verify proper care and custody of equipment and confirm equipment supports operations.
  • Identify barriers to safe operations.
  • Identify adverse conditions and opportunities for improvement in contractor activities.
  • Perform and document program reviews.
  • Process deliverables through the COD Project Lead before internal or external publication and availability.
  • Perform work at or near the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Project site in the 200 East area of the Hanford Site.
  • Comply with the ORP Quality Assurance Program Description and applicable task-order requirements.
  • Support business development and other efforts on behalf of ProSidian Consulting.
  • Establish, manage, pursue, and fulfill annual goals and objectives aligned with ProSidian's global competencies.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio.
  • Ability to quickly learn other business tools and technologies as necessary.
