Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
  • At least 7 years of experience in enterprise ERP technical roles is required.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on technical experience supporting Workday is required.
  • Experience supporting multiple Workday modules, including Supply Chain Management, Finance, Human Capital Management, Payroll, and/or Research Grants, is required.
  • Strong experience with Workday integrations and technical frameworks is required.
  • Experience with Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect is required.
  • Experience with REST APIs, SOAP web services, and Workday Web Services is required.
  • Experience with Workday Extend, UI Framework, and data services is required.
  • Experience with Workday Orchestrate for end-to-end process automation is required.
  • Workday certifications in Integration, Extend, Financials, Human Capital Management, or Payroll are required.
  • Experience with large-scale ERP implementations or system transformations is required.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert across Supply Chain Management, Workday Finance, Research Grants, Human Capital Management, and Payroll.
  • Design and develop scalable, secure Workday solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Build and maintain Workday Extend applications to address business requirements not met by core Workday functionality.
  • Support Workday Orchestrations to automate complex, cross-system business processes.
  • Design, develop, and support Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder, Core Connectors, and third-party middleware.
  • Build and maintain real-time and batch integrations using REST, SOAP, and API-based frameworks.
  • Support inbound and outbound integrations with ERP, banking, payroll vendors, grants, supply chain platforms, and EHR applications.
  • Provide technical support for Workday production issues, including integrations, Extend applications, and orchestration failures.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for complex technical issues.
  • Support Workday releases, feature enablement, regression testing, and cutover activities.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of mission-critical integrations and automations.
  • Explore and implement AI/ML use cases to improve automation, exception handling, forecasting, and decision support.
  • Integrate AI-enabled services with Workday through APIs and orchestration frameworks.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Research Administration, Human Resources, Payroll, and IT stakeholders.
  • Translate functional requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
  • Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentoring to junior engineers.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and integration specifications.
  • Evaluate new Workday features and emerging technologies for adoption.

Beth Israel Lahey Health rolls out Heidi's AI scribing to all physicians after 90% report better patient presence

Beth Israel Lahey Health is rolling out Heidi's ambient AI scribing tool to all its physicians following a successful trial across its facilities. The health system, which serves over 6,000 providers across 14 hospitals and 175 primary care practices, prioritises addressing physician burnout, with nearly half of US physicians reporting burnout. During a six-month trial offering Heidi to 1,000 providers, the majority adopted the technology. Survey results showed 89% were satisfied with note quality, 90% felt more present with patients, 74% reduced after-hours work time, and 82% experienced reduced cognitive load during visits. The implementation demonstrates how ambient AI can deliver immediate relief to physicians whilst benefiting patients and the healthcare system. Heidi supports over 2 million consultations weekly globally and has raised $96.6 million from investors including Point72 Private Investments and Blackbird.
