Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Military Studies, or a related field is required.
  • Three years of experience in operations, planning, program management, or organizational support are required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including briefing preparation, are required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • An active Secret (Tier 3) security clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and update operational plans supporting organizational goals and mission requirements.
  • Coordinate with department leads to support strategic planning and execution of initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, briefings, and status updates on operational activities, resource utilization, and risks.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support the planning and execution of exercises, training events, and contingency operations.
  • Coordinate planning meetings, prepare agendas, document action items, and track follow-up activities.
  • Maintain operational schedules, milestones, and planning documentation.
  • Prepare after-action reports that capture lessons learned and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government organizations.
  • Experience with operational planning, military exercises, or training event coordination.
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps staff processes and planning methodologies.
