- Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience.
- Strong experience with PySpark.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and/or Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Experience building data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, or Microsoft Fabric Data Factory.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse.
- Develop extract, transform, and load or extract, load, and transform solutions using PySpark and SQL.
- Build and optimize data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.
- Design scalable lakehouse and data warehouse solutions.
- Optimize data performance, reliability, and quality across cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to deliver business solutions.
- Implement data governance, security, and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve platform performance.
- Power BI.

Acuity Analytics has acquired Continuus, a US-based data consultancy specialising in financial services. The deal adds 37 specialists and expands Acuity's capabilities across data strategy, governance, engineering and cloud platforms. The transaction, which completed on 1 October, strengthens Acuity's presence in its largest market. Continuus works primarily with asset managers and financial institutions, helping clients develop data strategies and deliver cloud transformation programmes. The acquisition brings Snowflake Premier status and deepens Microsoft expertise to meet demand for platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Databricks. The deal supports Acuity's evolution from a research and analytics business into a technology-led organisation. Following acquisitions of PPA Group in 2024 and Ascent in 2025, the Continuus transaction further expands Acuity's data and technology capabilities. Terms were not disclosed.
