Requirements
  • An undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience is required, including experience with enterprise resource planning payables systems, continuous improvement, and managing others.
  • Extensive experience in accounts payable operations within mid-sized to large manufacturing organizations and end-to-end procure-to-pay processes is required.
  • High proficiency using Excel and enterprise resource planning or materials requirements planning software is required; experience with Infor Syteline enterprise resource planning is preferred.
  • Knowledge of process improvement, business operations, project management, change management, and automation or technology systems implementations is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for collaboration, problem solving, process-improvement activities, or company-wide events may be required.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills and subject matter expertise enabling independent and reliable execution of essential functions are required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently without sacrificing accuracy is required.
  • Ability to exercise judgment in decision-making related to job tasks is required.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, multitask, and manage multiple projects simultaneously is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and lead through change and transformative growth, are required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and management for Invoice-to-Pay dedicated personnel across three North American locations, emphasizing process improvement, coaching, development, continuous learning, and achievement of results.
  • Analyze workflows, processes, and operational measures to identify root causes, quantify issues, and justify recommended improvements across the procure-to-pay process, including new digital solutions.
  • Direct a team in troubleshooting, problem solving, and collaboration to create effective and efficient procure-to-pay processes that can be scaled.
  • Develop and translate strategy into operational goals, objectives, and process roadmaps.
  • Ensure accounts payable procedures comply with all state and federal regulations.
  • Support month-end close through accrual preparation and reconciliations.
  • Communicate effectively with auditors, provide reports and reconciliations as necessary, and ensure timely and accurate audits are performed.
