Requirements
  • At least 15 years of experience in ADAS, automotive, embedded, or software-defined vehicle domains.
  • Mastery of ADAS systems engineering, including architecture, functional safety management, and requirements engineering methods.
  • Expert-level experience applying ISO 26262 Parts 3 and 4 and SOTIF (ISO 21448) across multiple production programs.
  • Experience defining platform-level ADAS system architectures across system-on-chip generations, sensor configurations, and original equipment manufacturer programs.
  • Deep model-based systems engineering expertise using SysML-based system design and model-driven requirements management in an automotive context.
  • Experience governing an Automotive SPICE-compliant systems engineering organization and driving continuous process improvement.
  • Ability to engage with original equipment manufacturer chief engineers and systems engineering teams on complex ADAS platform programs.
  • A track record of delivering systems engineering excellence across high-complexity, high-volume ADAS production programs.
  • A BE/BTech or ME/MTech degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering, with 15 years of full-time education.
Responsibilities
  • Define advanced driver-assistance systems platform reference architectures spanning multiple system-on-chip platforms, sensor suites, and vehicle program configurations.
  • Lead adoption of model-based systems engineering methodologies and associated toolchains, including SysML and AUTOSAR Architect, across all advanced driver-assistance systems programs.
  • Drive systems engineering strategy for software-defined vehicle advanced driver-assistance systems, including zone-controller integration, vehicle operating-system service interfaces, and centralized-compute migration.
  • Lead the organizational functional-safety strategy, including Automotive Safety Integrity Level allocation governance, Safety Element out of Context qualification, and dependent-failure-analysis frameworks.
  • Interface with original equipment manufacturer and Tier 1 systems engineers for platform-level architecture alignment and joint reference-architecture development.
  • Champion Safety of the Intended Functionality analysis governance across all programs, including standardized functional-insufficiency analysis templates and validation strategies.
  • Establish reusable advanced driver-assistance systems engineering intellectual property, including reference-architecture libraries, safety-concept templates, and interface-control-document standard formats.
  • Govern Automotive SPICE Level 3 systems-engineering process compliance organization-wide and define the process-improvement roadmap for Level 4 and Level 5 readiness.
  • Lead complex technical proposal development for high-value advanced driver-assistance systems engineering engagement opportunities.
  • Build systems-engineering competency through an advanced driver-assistance systems engineering training curriculum, center-of-excellence establishment, and expert mentoring.
  • Contribute to advanced driver-assistance systems industry standards through active participation in International Organization for Standardization and Society of Automotive Engineers committees and AUTOSAR safety working groups.
  • Oversee the technical vision and architectural framework for custom software projects, guide teams through software design and implementation, and ensure development practices meet standards for code quality, scalability, and performance aligned with business objectives.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with advanced driver-assistance systems homologation, including United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Regulation No. 152 and Regulation No. 157 technical dossier preparation and type-approval processes.
  • Knowledge of advanced safety analyses, including Common Cause Failure Analysis and Dependent Failure Analysis, at portfolio level.
  • Exposure to next-generation advanced driver-assistance systems electrical/electronic architectures, including federated, zonal, and flat-network software-defined vehicle designs at system level.
  • Understanding of Safety of the Intended Functionality 2.0 trends and Responsibility-Sensitive Safety and their systems-engineering implications.

Accenture surges 17% on Q4 beat with $18.7B revenue, but analyst warns stock fully priced at 15x forward earnings

Accenture shares surged 17% on Thursday after reporting strong fourth-quarter results. The company posted revenue of $18.7 billion, up 6% year-over-year, while earnings per share jumped 46% to $3.29. Management's full-year revenue growth forecast of 4.5% exceeded analyst expectations of 4%. Net bookings rose 4% to $22.2 billion. The company plans to return at least $9.5 billion to shareholders this financial year. However, TD Cowen analyst Bryan Bergin maintained a hold rating, citing concerns that the stock is fully priced at 15 times forward earnings. He cautioned that one strong quarter may represent a cyclical bounce rather than structural growth acceleration. Despite this, Wall Street remains optimistic, with a "moderate buy" consensus rating. Accenture currently offers a 3.05% dividend yield.

Accenture soars 20% on upbeat fiscal 2027 forecast, lifting IBM and Cognizant

Accenture shares surged 20% Thursday after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter results and issued its fiscal 2027 outlook. Quarterly revenue rose 6% year-over-year to $18.7 billion, whilst GAAP diluted earnings increased 46% to $3.29 per share. New bookings reached $22.2 billion. For fiscal 2027, Accenture projects revenue growth of 3% to 6% in local currency, exceeding the 3.9% analyst consensus. The company expects GAAP diluted earnings of $14.39 to $14.81 per share and an operating margin of 15.9% to 16.1%. The positive forecast boosted competitors' shares. Cognizant Technology Solutions climbed 10%, Infosys gained 8%, and IBM rose 5% in morning trading. Accenture generated $2.8 billion in free cash flow during the quarter and returned $11.5 billion to shareholders in fiscal 2026.

Accenture partners with AWS to deliver cloud and AI tools for mid-sized companies

Accenture has announced a new collaboration with Amazon Web Services to deliver cloud and AI offerings specifically for mid-sized companies generating between $300 million and $3 billion in annual revenue. The technology bundle, available through AWS Marketplace, includes tools for virtual machine migration, cloud spending optimisation, security strengthening, and AI system risk testing. The offerings fall under Accenture Edge, a dedicated business unit serving mid-market clients. The collaboration also provides conversational AI, virtual agents, and customer service technology. 407 ETR, a Toronto-area electronic toll highway operator, is cited as an early customer. Accenture shares rose 1.6% in premarket trading following the announcement. The stock currently trades around $180, having rebounded more than 50% from June lows but remaining well below its 52-week high of $291.09.
