Requirements
  • Successfully pass the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources Protected Services Record Check and West Virginia CARES fingerprint-based criminal background check if assigned to the Child Development Center, Chestnut Ridge Center, or Center for Hope and Healing.
  • Be able to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds.
  • Be able to understand written and oral communication.
  • Work the scheduled evening shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., every other weekend, and rotating holidays.
Responsibilities
  • Perform housekeeping duties and maintain the cleanliness and productivity expectations set by the department.
  • Clean assigned areas using proper procedures while maintaining productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Treat patients, visitors, and staff with dignity and respect.
  • Follow up with customers and address issues in a timely manner.
  • Follow all hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in the department's and organization's continuous improvement process.
  • Support change by offering and trying new ideas.
  • Take ownership of decisions and actions and work with others to improve the hospital.
  • Work as a team member to achieve departmental goals.
