We are seeking an Assistant Foreman to lead field operations, specialize in large-scale fluid handling, and manage temporary utility infrastructure. What You’ll Do

As an Assistant Foreman, you will balance hands-on technical pump execution with field leadership. Your core responsibilities include:

💧 Pump Mobilization & Fluid Dynamics

• Lead setup and teardown of high-volume industrial pumping configurations and bypass systems.
• Manage fluid-handling infrastructure, including heavy-duty pumps, hoses, pipes, fittings, and associated power distribution systems.
• Deploy rapidly to manage equipment, fluid logistics, and resources during critical emergency bypass and water restoration response efforts.
• Ensure peak efficiency of all deployed rental fleet assets to guarantee client satisfaction and profitable project delivery.

🛡️ Safety & Compliance Leadership

• Promote a zero-harm workplace by strictly enforcing company safety policies, procedures, and job-site best practices.
• Conduct fluid-hazard assessments (such as managing containment and pressure risks) and implement immediate controls to protect your crew.
• Support Project Leads by monitoring project timelines, tracking resource allocation, and troubleshooting equipment issues on site.

What You’ll Bring

• Pump Expertise: Prior hands-on experience in a mechanical or construction equipment role, with a strong focus on bypass pumping, water restoration, hydraulics, or fluid management systems.
• Technical Chops: Deep understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, fluid flow, and electrical/electronic pump interfaces.
• Blueprint Literacy: Ability to confidently read and interpret technical manuals, pump curves, fluid-system schematics, and site blueprints.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Sharp analytical skills to troubleshoot complex mechanical failure or flow restrictions on active job sites.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to effectively coordinate with clients, dispatchers, and internal project teams.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or degrees in mechanics, hydraulics, or engineering are a major plus.
