About the job
- Actively pursue an Associate, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or a related degree.
- Have an interest in building forensics, mechanical systems, and structures.
- Be able to carry 40–70 pounds multiple times a day or occasionally lift 85 pounds to waist height.
- Provide suitable transportation for use on job sites; mileage will be reimbursed.
- Conduct field observations associated with existing facilities.
- Perform facilities-related services including roofing and waterproofing, fireproofing and firestopping, exterior insulation finish systems, anchor testing, coring, scanning, material sampling, leak investigations, and forensic investigations.
- Interact and communicate with site contractors, other technicians, and project managers.
