Requirements
  • A completed Master's degree in Political Science with emphasis in International Relations, Comparative Politics, or United States Politics, depending on the course to be taught, is required.
  • A record of successful teaching within the discipline at the college level is required.
Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver course content for credit courses.
  • Prepare lesson plans and course materials.
  • Assess student learning.
  • Assign grades.
  • Refer students to support services where necessary.
  • Provide supplemental instruction and mentorship to students when appropriate.
  • Comply with University System of New Hampshire and Keene State College policies.
  • Participate in appropriate department and/or unit meetings.
Desired Qualifications
  • Preference is given to candidates with PhD or ABD degree status in Political Science and training in International Relations, Comparative Politics, or United States Politics.
  • Lead-instructor teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
  • Knowledge and ability to use the Canvas learning information platform is preferred.
