Telecommunications is a minor part of Valmont's Infrastructure business, accounting for six percent of the total in 3Q26. Valmont noted that the double digit North America Utility and Coatings sales, supported by higher pricing and broader infrastructure demand were partially offset by lower volumes in North America Telecommunications. The company says the decline in tower structure sales, reflects lower carrier spending as customers shifted capital allocation priorities, leading to fewer tower builds or existing tower augmentations. Valmont reported Telecommunications sales of $55 million for the quarter, down 34 percent from $83 million in 3Q25.
