About the job

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, or a related technical field.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in applied machine learning, computer vision, or AI research and development.
  • A proven hands-on track record of transitioning models from research or prototypes into robust commercial production.
  • Deep practical mastery of AI frameworks, primarily PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Strong programming proficiency in modern Python and/or C++ within Linux environments.
  • Demonstrated deep expertise and practical achievement in at least one domain: Edge AI hardware acceleration, edge model profiling, model compression, and deployment tools; or Cloud AI and data mining, including large-scale AI model training, computer vision algorithms, and complex AI pipelines for massive datasets.
Responsibilities
  • Design, train, and fine-tune high-performance deep learning models for vehicle attribute detection and optical character recognition using architectures such as convolutional neural networks and Vision Transformers.
  • Apply a Data-Centric AI approach, potentially using generative AI such as diffusion models or generative adversarial networks for synthetic data generation to address long-tail anomalies and obscured data in natural environments.
  • Write clean, efficient, well-documented, maintainable production-level code in Python and/or C++.
  • For an Edge AI specialization, profile trained models to identify latency bottlenecks; apply optimization techniques such as INT8/FP16 quantization and pruning; and convert models for deployment via TensorRT, TFLite, or ONNX on embedded hardware such as ARM CPUs, custom NPUs, and low-power devices.
  • For a Cloud AI and Data Mining specialization, architect and develop machine learning algorithms and AI pipelines to mine insights from large cloud datasets; focus on large-scale model training, integrate Vision-Language Models for text-to-image retrieval, and optimize deep learning architectures to process and extract intelligence from high volumes of unstructured video and image data.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with multimodal foundation models such as CLIP and LLaVA for Open-Set Recognition or text-to-image retrieval.
  • Experience building agentic workflows or automated Active Learning systems.
