The Summer 2024 Internship program at Vevo is a paid opportunity designed for qualified students to gain hands on experience while learning about the media and entertainment industry.
We are seeking an intern to join the Data Operations team this summer. This intern will help support two teams within the department. The data analytics team, which is focused on the reporting needs for the various departments across the organization, as well as the data science team which is focused on delivering model driven ad products.

This is a part-time Hybrid position for Summer 2024.
As a member of our team, you will:
- Support reporting, data visualization and presentation building
- Work with internal teams across Sales, Partner Management and Distribution Operations, etc to produce client deliverables
- Support the team on various data analytics projects
- Perform storytelling from data and analyses; communicate insights to internal stakeholders and clients
- Use SQL and Python to work with data, including collection, preprocessing, exploration, visualization, analysis, and product delivery
This describes you:
- Strong interest of the Television and Digital Video advertising industry, and the evolving CTV landscape
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets)
- Knowledge of SQL, data structures, and analysis techniques
- Knowledge of Python, particularly for data manipulation and some basic statistical model building
- Excellent communication skills, both written, oral, and through visual presentations
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strategic thinker with an ability to identify trends and make insightful recommendations
- Ability to learn how to use new tools/applications and interpret data sets
- Eager to work in BI tools to help build data insights and analysis
Requirements:
- Rising Junior or Senior currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Desire to pursue a career in the media industry
- 20 hours per week (June 4, 2024 - August 8, 2024)
The pay range for this position is $16 per hour. Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Transparency Law.
This is a part-time position based on-site/in the office. Vevo will operate in a hybrid work model and will require interns to be in office 3 days a week.
