Solana Mobile puts its Seeker app on Ledger's new Atom device

Solana Mobile has named Ledger as its first hardware expansion partner. Ledger's new device, Ledger Atom, will come with Solana Mobile's Seeker app preinstalled, the companies announced on October 15, 2026 at the Ledger Op3n 2026 event. Seeker combines the Solana dApp Store and a wallet. Solana Mobile says Seeker has handled over $13 billion in transaction volume across 154 million transactions, and the store lists more than 1,500 apps. The company says it has sold over 200,000 phones since 2023. Ledger Atom runs on the Android Open Source Project, with a separate Secure Element chip running Ledger's own operating system. It will be sold only on Ledger's website, and reservations are open.

Payward and Ledger partner to enable offline storage of tokenised stocks

Ledger and Payward, Kraken's parent company, have partnered to enable investors to store tokenised stocks offline using hardware wallets. The integration allows customers using Payward's xStocks platform to require a signature on their Ledger device before completing transactions. Ledger devices will also include an xStocks integration on their trading platform. Ledger executive Sebastien Badault said the service targets the company's 8 million customers who prefer self-custody and traditional investors concerned about hacking threats. Tokenised stocks received an SEC innovation exemption last year. Ledger is in discussions with Coinbase, Binance, and Robinhood, which have launched their own tokenised stock offerings. Currently, only Payward's tokenised stocks integrate with Ledger devices, including its Stax model designed by former Apple designer Tony Fadell.

Ex-Apple Music exec joins $1.5B startup Ledger to build security for crypto and digital identity

Ian Rogers, former head of Apple Music, has joined €1.5 billion security startup Ledger as chief human agency officer. Rogers previously built products at Beats, Apple, and LVMH, helping launch Apple Music in 2015. At Ledger, he's focusing on security and AI strategy for protecting digital assets like Bitcoin using secure hardware chips. The company employs technology similar to credit card security chips. Rogers began his career in the 1990s building early websites before moving into music technology. He sold two music applications to AOL and Yahoo, ran Yahoo Music from 2003 to 2008, and built Beats Music before its 2014 acquisition by Apple. He now works from rural Italy, applying lessons from Apple about ecosystem-building to cryptocurrency security. Rogers believes the next major consumer platform will centre on protecting money and identity.
