Simplify Jobs

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Avida’s website was updated August 24, 2026, signaling active operations.
  • Home Hardware boards were updated online in January 2026, proving maintained installed-base revenue.
  • Simplify listed two jobs in August 2026, indicating ongoing hiring despite a small team.

What critics are saying

  • No current public customer concentration data; Home Hardware dependency is a hidden fragility.
  • Small-company scale, about 1 to 50 employees, limits execution against larger integrators.
  • Quiet public footprint suggests weak recruiting and brand moat versus scaled retail-tech rivals.

What makes Avida unique

  • Avida pairs digital signage with sensory design, not just hardware deployment.
  • Home Hardware’s nationwide program shows Avida can manage multi-location retail rollouts.
  • Toronto-based team spans consulting, installation, monitoring, and content management end-to-end.
