About the job
- Prior experience as a Personal Care Aide or similar role is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must provide proof of up-to-date immunizations and a negative tuberculosis test.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work independently with direction from a team leader or manager while maintaining efficient and consistent communication.
- Must have strong oral communication when speaking with other health professionals in patients’ presence.
- Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and cleaning.
