Requirements
  • A recognized nursing degree and registration with the OIIQ (Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec) are required.
  • At least one year of previous experience in a home-care setting is required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick, effective decisions is required.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules is required.
  • Proficiency in French is required.
Responsibilities
  • Quickly assess patients' conditions and prioritize care according to the severity of their conditions.
  • Administer medical treatments and continuously monitor patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to develop appropriate care plans.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of care and interventions provided.
  • Participate in educating and supporting families of patients in critical situations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of English is an asset.
