Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat clients and perform additional tasks required to provide patient care.
  • Document evaluations and treatments, including evaluation writing, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, treatment notes, re-evaluations, and screenings.
  • Create individualized home exercise programs and appropriately use the electronic home exercise program library.
  • Submit appropriate charges promptly and use documentation guidelines to support charges.
  • Communicate with billing staff regarding questions about charges.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office and treatment space, including daily treatment-space responsibilities and participation in the gym-cleaning process.
  • Maintain permanent schedules by communicating with and educating parents, rescheduling clients, coordinating with front-desk staff, and building relationships with families and within the clinic.
  • Verify weekly schedules through communication with parents, documentation in Practice Perfect, communication with front-desk staff, inspection of PPS, and follow-up as needed.
  • Coordinate patient care by developing fact and information sheets, making doctor visits and phone calls, participating in company Facebook, blog, and other social media activities, supporting community awareness, and speaking to parent support groups.
  • Participate in in-services and continuing education courses hosted by ABC.
  • Develop new programs to be offered by ABC.
  • Host volunteers, observers, and students.
  • Support and promote community awareness through activities such as speaking to parent support groups and participating in weekend playgroups.
  • Maintain a high quality of care by making appropriate internal referrals, communicating with physicians and ancillary professionals, staying current with research, demonstrating competence, and identifying when training is needed.
  • Maintain expected statistics by determining a condition weekly and initiating a plan to control it.
  • Participate in questionnaires, annual reviews, and peer review requests.
  • Submit clinical ladder information, payroll information, PTO requests, and continuing education requests.
  • Track payroll information and report discrepancies immediately.
  • Communicate with the manager when support is wanted or needed.
  • Follow ABC Pediatric Therapy Network policies and procedures.
  • Participate in tasks aligned with ABC's mission.
