Responsibilities
  • Own and manage team standard operating procedures, work instructions, and guiding documents, including GMP and non-GMP materials.
  • Lead periodic standard operating procedure reviews, revisions, and lifecycle management in alignment with Amgen quality systems.
  • Ensure team procedures align with global policies, regulatory requirements, and contract manufacturing organization oversight standards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional reviews and approvals of procedural documents.
  • Maintain document control and inspection readiness.
  • Monitor and report performance metrics, including cycle time, aging, and on-time closure, and escalate overdue items.
  • Monitor and report trends across standard operating procedures, training, regulatory commitments, deviations, and change management, providing leadership with insights and improvement action plans.
  • Own and track team GMP and non-GMP training requirements.
  • Manage training completion and drive closure of overdue items.
  • Partner with Quality and Human Resources to ensure accurate training curricula and assignments.
  • Develop training materials and support onboarding of new team members.
  • Prepare compliance dashboards and periodic status reports.
  • Support internal and external audits and inspections related to External Supply operations and documentation practices.
  • Track and manage compliance commitments, corrective and preventive actions, and team action items.
  • Ensure proper documentation and archival of audit-related records.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to maintain inspection readiness across the External Planning function.
  • Own and manage deviations and change control records across external planning supply-chain operations.
  • Ensure timely initiation, routing, and closure of deviations and change controls according to procedures and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant records within quality systems.
  • Support workflow execution through coordination, tracking, and documentation updates.
  • Ensure audit readiness through complete, accurate, and inspection-ready records.
  • Monitor adherence to established procedures and identify compliance gaps.
  • Drive process improvements to simplify documentation, training tracking, and governance workflows.
  • Support risk assessments and change-management activities affecting External Planning.

Amgen and AstraZeneca lung cancer drug combo meets survival goal in phase III study
