About the company

Column is a U.S. developer infrastructure bank that provides banking APIs for ACH, wires, book transfers, check issuance, and related ledger services so fintechs can embed regulated banking without a bank charter. Its API-first platform exposes account and payment rails and ledger functionality, with usage-based pricing and monthly minimums. It differentiates itself by targeting fintechs and platform ecosystems as an embedded banking provider and by offering a full back-end, API-driven solution for regulated banking needs. Its goal is to help fintechs scale embedded, compliant banking and payments for their customers, as demonstrated by its financing activity with Mundi to expand export working-capital for Mexico–U.S. trade.

AppFolio and column announce strategic partnership to transform financial operations for Real Estate.

AppFolio and column announce strategic partnership to transform financial operations for Real Estate. Partnership brings Column's next-generation banking capabilities within the AppFolio Performance Platform, helping property managers run their finances with confidence. September 24, 2026 12:00 ET | Source: AppFolio, Inc. SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Sept. 24, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - AppFolio (NASDAQ: APPF), the technology leader powering the future of the real estate industry, today named Column N.A., Member FDIC, a nationally chartered bank built for modern fiduciaries, as its featured banking partner, an exclusive designation. Through the partnership, AppFolio customers will gain access to new financial capabilities built for property management within the AppFolio Performance Platform - available only through Column. Full details will be announced at FUTURE: The Real Estate Conference by AppFolio, Sept. 28-Oct. 1, in San Diego. Property managers are increasingly financial partners to their owners, expected to deliver faster access to funds, timely visibility, strong controls, and detailed reporting. Yet property management and banking systems have remained disconnected, leaving finance teams to bridge the gap through manual reconciliation and fragmented payment workflows. By bringing AppFolio's trusted real estate data, accounting intelligence, and AI-powered workflows together with Column's advanced bank core, ledger, and payments technology, the companies are laying the foundation for intelligent financial operations. "Property managers run their business in one system while their money sits in another, and every gap between the two gets closed by someone on a finance team, by hand, after the fact. Column built its own core and ledger, so the bank can connect straight into the platform rather than sit behind it. When the bank and the books share the same data, operators act on what's happening today instead of reconstructing last month. That's the standard we're setting for financial operations on the AppFolio Performance Platform," said Adam Feinstein, senior vice president of product at AppFolio. Column built and operates its own core banking platform, ledger, and Federal Reserve connections. The bank processes more than $4.5 trillion in transaction volume annually and provides banking infrastructure to companies including Mercury, Ramp, and Wise. Its dedicated property management banking team pairs real estate trust accounts with relationship managers and customer engineers who understand property management workflows and compliance requirements. "Column was built so banking can move at the speed of technology. AppFolio's AI-native Performance Platform turns trusted real estate data into intelligent action; Column brings the regulated accounts, ledger, and payment infrastructure that extend that action into the movement of money. Together, we're creating a future where owner payments move faster, books stay current, and finance teams can focus their expertise on owners, strategy, and growth," said George Cheng, GM and Head of Vertical Banking at Column. "AppFolio has been a trusted technology partner as MAXX Property Management has grown, and this integration with Column brings our banking and property operations into a more connected process. It gives our accounting team cleaner information and greater confidence in the numbers, so we can scale while keeping operations smooth for our team. That's the kind of real performance we're building toward," said Corey Bohner, principal broker and owner of MAXX Property Management. About AppFolio AppFolio is the technology leader powering the future of the real estate industry. Our innovative performance platform and trusted partnership enable our customers to connect communities, increase operational efficiency, and grow their business. MUNDI and Column partner for $150 million financing facility to accelerate growth in Mexico-U.S. Trade finance.

MUNDI and Column partner for $150 million financing facility to accelerate growth in Mexico-U.S. Trade finance. Aug 22, 2026 Mexico, August 23, 2026 - MUNDI, the FinTech company powering export growth for Mexican firms and their supply chain, announced the completion of a new financing facility for up to $150 million from Column, a nationally chartered bank that provides regulated financial infrastructure for technology companies; marking Column's first financing partnership with a trade-finance-focused FinTech in Mexico. The facility strengthens MUNDI[[ʼ]]s funding capacity as it continues to scale its trade finance offering for companies across Mexico, and comes at a moment when Mexican businesspeople face uncertainty around the terms of cross-border trade under the ongoing USMCA review. The new facility adds to MUNDI[[ʼ]]s existing credit lines and together with other recent debt facility renewals, giving MUNDI the capacity to grow its receivables portfolio to up to $325 million, more than double its previous capacity. Mexican exporters have historically faced limited access to dollar-denominated financing, despite the country's growing role in North American trade: U.S. imports from Mexico reached $534.3 billion in 2025, with momentum continuing into 2026. Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of Mexico's economy, yet they produce less than 7% of the country's exports, in part because formal financing remains underused: supplier financing is the most common source for Mexican companies, while financing from foreign-domiciled banks remains marginal. When financing does reach Mexican companies, the impact is significant: 7x more investment, 6x more revenue, 5x more production, and 4x more employment. This is the gap MUNDI was built to close, partnering with Column to accelerate growth in Mexico-U.S. trade finance by providing working capital solutions tailored to the realities of cross-border commerce. "This partnership isn't just about more capital, it's about a fundamentally faster and more flexible way to fund Mexican exporters and their supply chain," said Martin Pustilnick, co-Founder and CEO of MUNDI. "Column's platform lets us draw funding daily, in minutes. At a time when the rules of trade between Mexico and the U.S. are being renegotiated, having the capital and the speed to back our clients isn't a nice-to-have, it's essential. This partnership more than doubles our capacity to grow and gives us room to bring new products to market." "Cross-border trade is essential to the North American economy, and we[[ʼ]]re proud to put Column[[ʼ]]s powerful banking infrastructure to work connecting exporters with dollar funding,[[ˮ]] said Brian Fishbein, Chief Investment Officer at Column. "MUNDI is a champion of Mexican trade. Today[[ʼ]]s partnership will scale their capacity to quickly deploy reliable capital to Mexican exporters and supply chains, and build economic dynamism across North America.[[ˮ]] Access to fast, flexible, dollar-denominated financing is becoming a decisive factor for Mexican exporters' ability to compete and grow, particularly as the terms of North American trade are being renegotiated under the USMCA review. For exporters and their supply chains, working capital constraints can mean the difference between capturing new international demand and losing it to better-financed competitors. MUNDI is positioned to keep expanding access to that capital for a growing base of Mexican exporters and their supply chain with this new facility, while also using its added capacity to develop new products in the months ahead. About Column: Column N.A., Member FDIC, is a nationally chartered bank that provides regulated financial infrastructure for technology companies. Founded in 2019 by Plaid co-founder William Hockey, Column serves as the banking backbone for modern financial products and powers the world's most sophisticated fintechs, such as Brex, Bilt, Wise, Mercury, and more. With a custom-built banking core, ledger, data model, and a direct connection to the Federal Reserve, Column eliminates the inefficiencies of legacy banks and middleware - creating a faster and more reliable banking platform. Beyond payments and accounts, Column enables national lending and credit products, powering API-based loan-origination partnerships and deploying its balance sheet to fund lenders through debt financing and loan purchases. About MUNDI: MUNDI is a fintech company supporting Mexican companies to scale their businesses through financing services specialized in international trade, serving all types of exporters and their supply chain. Over its six years of operation, MUNDI has partnered with nearly 600 companies to facilitate transactions from Mexico to more than 50 countries, totaling over $2.5 billion. MUNDI is backed by world-class investors and partners, including USV, Haymaker Ventures, FJ Labs, GMO, Upper90, and Base10, as well as J.P.
