Requirements
  • A 4-year Engineering degree in Electrical, Software, or Computer Engineering is preferred; alternatively, a 4-year Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or similar Engineering Technology degree is highly acceptable with a proven track record of successful manufacturing automation implementation.
  • Three to five years of dedicated automated manufacturing experience in the industrial automation industry is required.
  • Experience in metal fabrication or heavy industrial environments is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Red Lion controllers is required.
  • Hands-on experience with Fanuc robotic systems and Salvagnini sheet metal automation is required.
  • A solid understanding of troubleshooting and migrating older relay logic is required.
  • Proven ability to design HMI/OIT interfaces and experience implementing and tuning servo motors, variable-frequency drives, and actuators is required.
  • Deep knowledge of controls-based safety system implementation, including light curtains, scanners, interlocks, and emergency stops, is required.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely, interface with robotics systems technology, and operate electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, calibrators, and oscilloscopes is required.
  • Proven critical-thinking ability to take a concept to reality with little to no intervention and work effectively independently to execute projects to a scheduled deadline is required.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, integrate, test, and implement process control solutions for machinery and conveying, including creating correlating prints, electrical schematics, and system diagrams.
  • Manage automation projects from concept to completion by defining scopes, budgets, and timelines.
  • Program, troubleshoot, and optimize multi-axis Fanuc industrial robots and robotic end-of-arm tooling.
  • Specify, propose, budget, and source process instrumentation, programmable logic controllers, drives, and components for new equipment.
  • Supervise the installation, testing, and start-up phases of new control systems.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, calibrate field devices, and correct software errors to minimize production downtime.
  • Review, repair, optimize, and redesign legacy automation code to modern standard architectures.
  • Guide maintenance technicians through physical equipment fabrication and panel building, and train staff during new project startup and deployment.

The underperformance stems from modest organic growth, averaging 3.9% year-over-year over two years, and an earlier ERP disruption that affected production rates. However, shares gained 12.8% over the past three months.

Allegion beats Q2 estimates with $1.15B revenue, stock soars 8.3%

Allegion, a security hardware provider, reported second-quarter revenue of $1.15 billion, beating analyst estimates by 3.1% and marking 12.7% year-on-year growth. The company's non-GAAP earnings of $2.40 per share exceeded consensus estimates by 8.3%. Adjusted EBITDA reached $296.7 million with a 25.8% margin, surpassing expectations by 7.9%. Organic revenue rose 6.9% year on year. Management raised its full-year adjusted earnings guidance to $8.93 at the midpoint, a 1.4% increase. Operating margin held steady at 22.1% compared to the same quarter last year, whilst free cash flow margin declined to 15.7% from 18.8%. Analysts project revenue growth of 4.2% over the next 12 months, representing a deceleration from recent performance. Allegion's market capitalisation stands at $12.03 billion.

Allegion unveils Schlage XE360 with RealSync at Apartmentalize 2026

Allegion US is unveiling new interoperable electronic access control solutions at NAA Apartmentalize 2026, including integrations between Schlage Zentra and Gatewise platforms. The security solutions provider is showcasing its Schlage XE360 Series with RealSync technology, which provides real-time connectivity via existing Wi-Fi infrastructure without requiring additional gateways or hubs. Allegion US has launched Campus-to-Community Student Living, a unified mobile-first ecosystem designed for off-campus student housing operators. The solution integrates hardware, mobile credentials and software partners to create an interoperable environment connecting campus and community living spaces. At its core is Schlage's Resident Key, available in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, enabling students to access residences, amenities and campus facilities via iPhone, Apple Watch, Android phones and Wear OS smartwatches. The platform aims to address challenges including compressed turnover cycles and disconnected technology systems. Earlier this year, Allegion partnered with Preiss, IRIS Technologies and Quext to deploy the nation's first off-campus student housing mobile wallet experience at The Collective at Norman, serving University of Oklahoma students.
