- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- Twelve years of experience in the respective technical or professional discipline, including five years of Department of Defense experience, are required.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of nuclear stockpile stewardship requirements at the national, Department of Defense, joint, and service levels are required.
- Demonstrated experience working and coordinating with Department of Defense and non-Department of Defense offices on nuclear enterprise matters is required.
- Conduct research and analysis on nuclear stockpile sustainment issues and synthesize stakeholder information to develop formal policy positions, recommendations, and analytical products for government consideration.
- Coordinate all nuclear stockpile-related staff packages and review documents from internal and external organizations, providing formal comments.
- Attend and participate in designated nuclear stockpile-related technical discussions, meetings, wargames, and interagency forums, and analyze exchanged information to identify impacts on Air Force A10XC equities.
- Document and organize current and historical data related to nuclear stockpile activities to maintain programmatic continuity.
- Coordinate and consolidate agenda topics and briefing materials from relevant stakeholders to prepare senior leaders for participation in the Nuclear Oversight Council and other forums.
- Provide logistical and administrative support during forum execution and capture a comprehensive record of discussions and strategic decisions.
- Monitor and document the progress of tasks assigned during governance forums to ensure timely completion.
- A Master's degree is preferred.
- Ten years of experience in the respective technical or professional discipline, including five years of Department of Defense experience, are preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working in complex environments with multiple points of contact is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience generating briefings and drafting information papers, white papers, and decision papers is preferred.
- Experience drafting testimony and articles for publication and preparing senior government personnel for public speaking engagements is preferred.
