Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment
  • 2+ years of experience in strategy, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or a related field—experience within healthcare or insurance is a plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles and accountability
  • Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated familiarity with financial concepts, including ROI and pro forma modeling
  • Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking, with strong abilities in relationship management
Responsibilities
  • Analyze public filings, earnings calls, press releases, and market data to uncover strategic actions by key competitors; synthesize insights into clear reports and dashboards, and deliver timely alerts to leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in the market.
  • Create and deliver ad-hoc financial analyses and dynamic models to evaluate business performance, strategic initiatives, and operational risks. Deliver insights in a clear, actionable format to support executive decision-making.
  • Maintain reporting and performance tracking for the company’s alternative investment portfolio, delivering insights on returns and strategic alignment. Support engagement with portfolio companies and monitor trends in the private equity and venture capital healthcare market to inform investment strategy.
  • Developing presentations to report findings, interpret data analysis, and make recommendations based on results.
  • Evaluates and distills analyses conducted by other departments and/or outside consultants.
  • Support enterprise priorities, initiatives, and projects by assisting Manager of Strategy and Innovation identify key business issues, outlining strategic alternatives, and recommending action plans.
