Whop brings full stack API to create and scale a business with a partnership across SpaceXAI products. Sep 03, 2026, 10:00 ET New integrations give Grok and Grok Bot users direct access to turn ideas into businesses and let Cursor developers direct Whop end-to-end business functions from inside coding environments NEW YORK, Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Whop, the company building the first end-to-end API for running a business, announced a partnership with SpaceXAI and a new integration with Cursor that brings Whop's end-to-end API directly into AI-powered workflows. SpaceXAI has named Whop Grok's first end-to-end business connector, giving Grok users the ability to create and manage businesses through natural-language commands. The Cursor integration gives developers access to Whop's business infrastructure directly inside their coding workflow, making it possible to create businesses and scale faster than ever before. Additionally, the Whop connector in Grok Bot allows business operators to spin up AI teammates that work asynchronously over long periods of time with dedicated roles and recurring tasks. Once users connect their Whop accounts, Grok can perform the same actions available through Whop CLI for their authenticated business, including creating a website, creating and managing products, creating checkouts, deploying ads and even creating an LLC. Grok can also query a user's live business data, including revenue, ad performance, pixel data and card spend, to help users understand what's working and where to optimize their business next. Whop is also now available in the Cursor Marketplace under Payments, where developers can add the Whop connector directly to Cursor. The integration connects Cursor to Whop's business tools so developers can run businesses programmatically without leaving their coding environment. For developers building a new product in Cursor, enabling payments and more through Whop's API becomes as simple as adding the Whop integration from the Marketplace. "It is now possible to create businesses at the speed of thought. Whop centralizes your website, your payments, and your distribution, so you can just focus on the ideas," said Steven Schwartz, CEO and Co-founder of Whop. "We are focused on integrating directly with the AI surfaces where people work to decrease the time from idea to income." These integrations build on Whop's end-to-end API, including products like Whop CLI and MCP. Using simple language prompts, business owners can create products, manage payments and run other core operations. The SpaceXAI and Cursor integrations advance Whop's mission to provide everyone with a pathway to earning sustainable income and builds on the company's recent launches of Whop CLI and Whop Cards, as well as growing API partnerships with Replit, Poke, Cal.com, and more. The Whop connector for Grok is available now. Users can create a free Whop account at whop.com, then visit grok.com/connectors, select Whop, and authorize their account. Whop can be integrated with Grok Bot as well by searching the Plugins tab or asking a Bot to authorize Whop. The Whop plugin for Cursor is available now through the Cursor Marketplace and can be added directly inside Cursor. A new business on Whop can now start in a Grok or Grok Bot conversation or directly inside a Cursor build. Whop adds Tap to Pay on iPhone so small businesses can take payments in person. Last updated: Aug 28, 2026 10:51 am UTC No card reader. Contactless cards, Apple Pay and Apple Watch, taken on the phone itself. US businesses only, one-time payments only. Discover more Social Networks E-Commerce Services Apple's Tap to Pay on iPhone makes the phone the card reader. Nothing plugs in, nothing charges overnight, nothing gets left in the van. Whop, a business platform for taking payments and sending payouts, switched it on in its iOS app in July, and it now sits inside every checkout link the app generates. * An iPhone XS or later on the latest version of iOS * The current Whop iOS app * A US business account Apple sets the outer limit. Tap to Pay on iPhone is not live in every country, and the supported regions are listed at developer.apple.com/tap-to-pay/regions. Taking a payment. It runs on checkout links, the same ones used online, so nothing separate gets set up for the counter. Add an item in the app for whatever is being sold face to face. One general item covers a stall or a till. When a customer is ready to pay, generate a checkout link from the phone. A QR code appears with a Tap to pay button underneath it. Press the button. The customer holds a contactless card, an iPhone or an Apple Watch to the top of your phone, and it clears in seconds. Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover all work, as do Apple Pay and other mobile wallets. Anyone wanting a receipt adds an email address at checkout. The QR code is the fallback. Hand the link over, or let the customer scan and pay on their own phone. Both routes settle into the same balance, which covers the card that will not tap and the phone sitting on 2%. Where the money goes. Takings from the tap land in the same balance as online sales and go out on whatever payout method and schedule the business already runs. One ledger instead of two, and no reconciling a card machine against a website at close. What it costs. Whop publishes 2.7% plus $0.30 per successful transaction on domestic cards and wallets, with 1.5% more on international cards and another 1% where currency conversion applies. The fees page carries no separate card-present rate, so check it before assuming in-person matches online. Prices are in US dollars. Payouts are priced on their own. Next-day ACH to a US bank is $2.50. Real-time bank deposit is 4% plus $1.00. The limits. Tap to Pay takes one-time payments. It cannot start a recurring plan, so a gym collecting monthly fees at the front desk still needs another route for those and can use the tap for one-off sales. Geography is the other constraint. US businesses for now, on top of Apple's own regional availability. Who it fits. The clearest case is a business selling in two places at once. A shop with a website. A trainer who bills online and takes payment in the room. Someone working fairs at the weekend and running orders through a site during the week. All of them currently reconcile a card machine that reports separately and settles on its own timetable. Then there is the business that skipped in-person sales because a terminal was never worth buying for one trade show a year. That maths changes when the hardware is a phone you already own. Whop has called this a first step and says more in-person tooling is coming. Whop's announcement has the launch detail, and the feature is live in the iOS app now.
