  • Finger dexterity and motor coordination for keyboarding and operating equipment.
Responsibilities
  • Directly supervise tutors and onboard substitutes.
  • Manage attendance, sign-ups, PowerSchool data entry, and attendance accountability with the Registrar.
  • Monitor the waitlist and collaborate with Deans on student enrollment.
  • Manage meal counts, trainings, and food ordering.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for immediate behavior concerns.
  • Ensure required staff breaks are provided and student coverage is maintained.
  • Manage supplies, daily materials, field-trip preparation, compliance documentation, and program-space readiness.
  • Coordinate with the front office regarding student accommodations, medications, and doctors' notes.
  • Oversee clubs, including daily Get Empowered Club operations.
  • Manage ELOP communication, sign-ups, preparation, and coverage for designated ELOP days.
  • Participate in ASES Tutor interviews as needed.
  • Tutor students during Homework Help in the after-school program.
  • Teach an enrichment class during the after-school program.
  • Assist with integrating core-curriculum concepts.
  • Manage student groups to use time efficiently.
  • Consult with the Principal or designee on academic assistance strategies.
  • Communicate regularly with school-day teachers and ASES program staff.
  • Ensure student safety and school accountability.
  • Keep accurate records and collect student data.
  • Monitor individual and groups of students, classroom activities, and playground activities to provide a safe environment.
  • Assist teachers with supervising students during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, and field trips.
  • Attend in-service and other appropriate professional-development trainings.
