Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
  • One month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts
  • Able to stand for 8-10 hours a day and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities
  • Provide customers with proper product delivered on-time and to the proper location
  • Ensure inventory levels are accurate and maintained
  • Responsible for the safe operation of industrial truck equipped with lifting devices
  • Comply with safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements
  • Participate in training and educational programs
  • Support company continuous improvement activities
  • Stop work on processes as appropriate and contain suspect or defective material
  • Move material within the plant efficiently
  • Inventory materials and supply workers as needed
  • Record weight of materials
  • Load and unload materials
  • Recharge batteries or replace liquefied gas tank
