- Coordinate services-related matters with the Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne, including accommodation, transportation, accreditation, and hospitality.
- Advocate for and coordinate services for Modern Pentathlon athletes, technical officials, Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne staff, and guests.
- Create and ensure organized follow-up of databases related to key topics in the Sport Delivery Plan between the Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne and LA28 departments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for National Olympic Committee services teams regarding visits and information requests.
- Support the Modern Pentathlon Sport Manager in ensuring that LA28 operational procedures and processes are understood and followed.
- Coordinate teams and administrative operations, including monitoring, updating, and sharing databases and resource documents, planning, organization, and team meetings across the multi-discipline venue footprint.
- Recruit, train, and manage sport-specific volunteers with the Sport Manager, technical operations lead, National Federation, and LA28 Workforce team.
- Recruit, train, and deploy the team responsible for delivering Fencing, Swimming, Obstacle, and Laser Run competitions.
- Coordinate with the Sport Manager, Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne, and National Federation to select and train National Technical Officials for the Olympic Games.
- Manage tasks and projects related to the delivery of Modern Pentathlon competitions as requested by the Sport Manager.
- Coordinate information and tools with the Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne Services and Relations Manager, the services team, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate athlete services during the Games, including transition areas, call rooms, and dedicated preparation spaces for Fencing, Swimming, Obstacle, and Laser Run.
- Oversee Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne back-of-house offices, meeting spaces, and VIP coordination.
- Coordinate services for international and national officials, including transportation, catering, dressing rooms, and sport manual documentation.
- Ensure accurate, real-time dissemination of multi-event schedules, transport plans, and training worksheets to delegations.

LA28 ticket registrations surge to over 12 million with two years to go. Ticket registration for the Los Angeles Olympic and Paralympic Games has climbed to 12 million, up from five million in February, according to organisers. LA28 announced the figure to coincide with the launch of the LA28 Visa presale, which offers selected qualifying Visa cardholders early access to Drop 2 of Olympics tickets across all sports. Fans from more than 200 countries and all 50 states have now registered for the chance to purchase tickets. During the first drop, some four million tickets were sold - 75% of which were claimed by LA and Oklahoma City locals. Organisers also said that 95% of tickets available in Drop 1 were priced at $100 (£75/€87) or less, with half a million costing $28. The LA28 Visa Presale runs until tomorrow (July 31) and purchases must be completed with a Visa card. Drop 2 will take place between August 10-20, and is powered by AXS and Eventim. Fans will be randomly selected for a time slot and will be notified via email between August 6-7. Time slots will open for 48 hours. Guests may purchase up to 12 total Olympic event tickets, and up to 12 additional football tournament tickets. A four-ticket-per-ceremony limit will count towards the general 12-ticket maximum. Next year, LA28 will launch a multi-platform verified ticket resale network and tickets for the Paralympic Games will go on sale. The first recipients of LA28's Community Ticket Programme were named this week, with 10 local organisations reaching a combined 1,000 free tickets to Olympic swimming and flag football. The tickets were made possible by an inaugural $5m donation from the NFL's Los Angeles Rams.
LA28 presents plans to world's press and broadcasters. With just under two years to go until the Olympic Games return to Los Angeles, international media and broadcasters gathered in the host city between 21 and 24 July for the LA28 World Press Briefing and World Broadcaster Meeting, receiving key insights into Games-time media and broadcast operations and visiting some of the world-class venues that will stage the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Key facts * More than 250 international media representatives and NOC, NPC and IF press officers attended the LA28 World Press Briefing. * Nearly 270 participants attended the World Broadcaster Meeting. * Around 90 representatives from 45 NOCs joined LA28's NOC Open Days earlier in the month. Over 250 media representatives and communications professionals, including National Olympic Committee (NOC), National Paralympic Committee (NPC) and International Federation (IF) press officers, attended the World Press Briefing, giving them the opportunity to receive the latest updates on LA28's planning progress, venue operations and services for the media during the Games. At the same time, around 270 participants attended the World Broadcaster Meeting, including more than 150 broadcaster representatives from 44 Media Rights-Holders. The meeting provided key information on Games-time broadcast operations and planning milestones to support preparations for delivering Olympic Games coverage to audiences around the world. Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) also presented its production vision for LA28, which will deliver approximately 3,800 to 4,000 hours of competition and Ceremonies coverage. With many international stakeholders already in the US following the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup, the meetings provided a timely opportunity to advance planning for 2028. How is LA28 ensuring NOCs are ready to support their teams in 2028? The meetings formed part of LA28's broader engagement with Games stakeholders. During the week of 14 July, LA28 also hosted NOC Open Days, welcoming nearly 90 representatives from 45 NOCs for three days of meetings and working sessions. The NOC Open Days gave delegates the opportunity to meet with LA28 operational teams, discuss planning priorities and gain a deeper understanding of the services and support that will be provided to athletes and team delegations in 2028. Together, the World Press Briefing, World Broadcaster Meeting and NOC Open Days marked an important step in LA28's transition from planning to Games-time readiness. LA28 Olympic hospitality announces new packages offering premium viewing experiences for fans. Fans of beach volleyball, diving, equestrian sports, golf, track and field and more can now purchase hospitality packages that include tickets, refreshments and lounges - 1 hour ago The Official Hospitality Provider of LA28, On Location, announced a new wave of ticket-inclusive hospitality packages on Tuesday to mark two years until the opening ceremony of the LA28 Olympic Games. Hospitality packages come with at least one ticket to a sporting session or ceremony with access to shared lounges or private suites, exclusive experiences and some include priority entry. Packages will be on sale through the LA28 Games. The Beach Volleyball Premium Lounge and the Diving Leisure Lounge packages are now available for purchase on hospitality.la28.org. Packages for the Equestrian Signature Lounge, Golf Private Suites and Athletics (Track & Field) Loge Boxes are now available for purchase through a hospitality sales team member by email or phone. "The LA28 Olympic Games is the perfect opportunity to create once-in-a-lifetime hospitality experiences for fans," said President of On Location Paul Caine in a statement. "These newly released packages span some of the most exciting sports at the Olympic Games and are crafted to give fans unprecedented proximity to the competition." With the Beach Volleyball package, fans can view matches from Alamitos Beach Stadium's second-floor open-air terrace, which offers 360-degree views of the court. The package comes with food and beverage service and expedited entry. The Diving Leisure Lounge at the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center offers a shaded lounge with an open-air terrace. Guests are offered small bites and a drink, with additional food and beverage options available for purchase. The lounge does not include direct views of the field of play. The Equestrian Signature Lounge package at Santa Anita Park includes a private, reserved table, along with food and beverage service and field-of-play views. USRowing seeks volunteers for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. With the Olympic and Paralympic Games returning to the United States for the first time in more than three decades, USRowing is inviting members of the rowing community to express their interest in rowing-specific volunteering opportunities at the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. LA28 is expected to recruit approximately 75,000 volunteers to help deliver the Games, including hundreds of sport-specific volunteers who will play an integral role in classic rowing and beach sprint competitions. USRowing is working alongside LA28 and World Rowing to identify experienced members of the rowing community who may be interested in serving in any of the following positions: * National Technical Official (NTO): An NTO is loosely defined as someone who applies the rules or has a role in judging a competition. They will support and work closely with the International Technical Officials (ITOs). They are appointed by LA28, in consultation with USRowing, and in accordance with World Rowing rules. * Specialist: A Specialist has specific existing skills or qualifications needed to complete the role - for example, sport or medical training. The specialist volunteers work within the Sport Competition team. * Generalist: A generalist does not need any special skills or qualifications and will receive full training. They might be given roles in areas such as event services, uniform distribution, and Village operations.
