  • The candidate must have ownership experience in power grid design and IR/EM sign-off.
  • The candidate must have a strong command of static timing analysis concepts, including OCV/AOCV/POCV, CRPR, SI/crosstalk, derates, and constraints management.
  • The candidate must have hands-on experience with Cadence Innovus, PrimeTime, Voltus, and Calibre.
  • The candidate must be proficient in UPF/CPF, DFT integration, and power-aware sign-off.
  • The candidate must have scripting skills in TCL, Python, and Perl, and be comfortable with automation and data-driven closure.
  • The candidate must have cross-functional communication and technical leadership skills.
  • The candidate should have exposure to physical-aware synthesis, logical equivalence at block/top, and ECO legalization.
  • The candidate should have a background in design-for-manufacturability and yield optimization.
  • The candidate must have experience with ESD compliance and bump planning for advanced packaging.
  • The candidate must have end-to-end tapeout ownership, including preparation, validation, and delivery of all sign-off views.
  • The candidate must be able to set direction, make trade-offs, and drive closure under schedule pressure.
  • The candidate must have end-to-end ownership from RTL handoff through tapeout and post-silicon correlation.
  • The candidate must use data-driven decision-making for timing, IR/EM, SI, and PPA.
  • The candidate must partner effectively with RTL, STA, DFT, Packaging, and Verification teams.
  • The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Responsibilities
  • Own and drive the entire physical design flow for SoCs.
  • Define and execute chip-level partitioning strategies, manage hierarchical block integration, and ensure seamless full-chip assembly.
  • Lead power grid architecture and implementation.
  • Oversee end-to-end place-and-route execution through timing closure and sign-off.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including RTL design, Physical Design, Static Timing Analysis, Design-for-Test, and Packaging/Power Integrity/Signal Integrity to deliver high-performance, power-efficient silicon.
