What You’ll Do:

Build scalable test automation processes to maximize creativity, collaboration & efficiency
Build, manage, maintain, and monitor the automated testing suite
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements and turn them into test plans
Interpret and report test results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
Document, and track resolutions for software defects identified in the testing process using approved tools and processes
Attend standup meetings, test plans, and business requirements walkthroughs
Lead code reviews as well as drive architecture and technical design discussions
Mentor and coach junior engineers, looking for growth opportunities and leading by example

What You Have:

Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or related discipline
3+ years of experience in testing web-based or SaaS applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.
Experience in the software development lifecycle, focusing on software quality
Highly motivated, resilient, and a tenacious passion for winning
Strong hands-on experience with Cypress.io e2e & component testing
Strong experience in REST API testing using tools such as Postman, or equivalent
Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Github Actions, or equivalent.
Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber is highly preferred
Mortgage capital markets experience highly preferred
Experience with a SaaS fintech startup
