Requirements
  • Must hold Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state or states of practice.
  • Must be willing to drive and have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
  • Must be able to work independently on a day-to-day basis.
  • Must be able to collaborate in a team environment with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and aide leadership.
Responsibilities
  • Support hospice patients with personal care and daily living needs in their homes or facilities.
  • Provide compassionate end-of-life care.
  • Work closely with patients on a one-to-one basis while receiving support from the patient care team.
  • Partner with community organizations in patient care.

Brighton Hospice is a hospice provider supporting people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Interdisciplinary teams coordinate nursing, medical, social-work, spiritual, aide, and bereavement support. Care is delivered in homes and other residential settings with an emphasis on comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
