Responsibilities
  • Own procurement strategy across Taco Bell LA&C food & packaging
  • Own the LA&C business unit cost of goods performance by collaborating closely with franchisees, internal stakeholders, and suppliers to identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.
  • Mitigate annual inflation through effective category strategy, negotiation, and margin improvement projects.
  • Prepare and lead negotiations for categories to achieve business unit cost goals.
  • Own the regional spend smarter and risk management strategy for the business unit.
  • Ensure all suppliers are contracted appropriately to meet LA&C business needs.
  • Performance manage suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply and uphold right-first-time quality standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to be the commercial contact for new suppliers, facilitating the effective delivery of the Marketing Calendar.
  • Support local business unit Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Product Development Manager on supplier issues, including supplier development and crisis management.
  • Partner with the Commercialization team to regionalize products, supporting cost and growth targets.
  • Manage legal, environmental, and CSR aspects associated with food and packaging to ensure compliance.
  • Effectively communicate project and category updates to the Taco Bell business unit cross-functional teams.
  • Understand internal stakeholder needs and develop an external knowledge of the impact on Taco Bell LA&C supply chain
  • Support new market entry, leading Supply Chain assessments, strategy for short term and long term profitability, and market launch.
  • Partner with US Supply Chain (RSCS) on procurement, S&OP, and category management
