Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading pharmaceutical or specialty sales teams, including front-line management experience.
  • Proven success leading teams through product launches, ideally in specialty, allergy, or related therapeutic areas.
  • Deep understanding of sales strategy, market access dynamics, and healthcare professional engagement models.
  • A track record of developing talent and improving team performance through effective coaching.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic action.
  • Willingness to travel 60–75%, including overnight stays for field rides, customer events, and company meetings.
  • Compliance with corporate policies, training, and legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Successful completion of a drug test and background check before employment begins.
Responsibilities
  • Recruit Therapeutic Specialty Representatives who combine sales excellence with mission alignment.
  • Develop team members through consistent field coaching, structured feedback, and individualized development plans.
  • Create a culture of accountability and growth in which representatives take ownership of their territories and support one another's success.
  • Foster diversity, equity, and inclusion across the region.
  • Identify and cultivate future leaders within the team.
  • Partner with the Vice President of Sales, Area Sales Director, and peer District Sales Managers to shape national sales strategy using field-level insights.
  • Translate corporate objectives into district business plans that account for local market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and payer environments.
  • Establish performance metrics and tracking mechanisms connecting daily activities to launch milestones.
  • Analyze territory performance data to identify gaps, opportunities, and scalable best practices.
  • Conduct frequent field rides involving observation, real-time coaching, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Help representatives master the consultative selling approach required for Anaphylm's value proposition.
  • Guide representatives through objection handling, particularly regarding payer access and product differentiation.
  • Connect daily sales activities to the broader patient-access mission.
  • Develop fluency in payer landscapes, including national plans, formularies, and local coverage nuances.
  • Translate payer insights into actionable pull-through strategies for the team.
  • Collaborate with Market Access and Hub Services to resolve coverage barriers and accelerate patient starts.
  • Track and share market-access wins, barrier patterns, and successful resolution strategies.
  • Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Training, and Market Access to ensure consistent brand execution.
  • Share customer insights, competitive intelligence, and execution challenges that inform broader strategy.
  • Facilitate collaboration with specialty pharmacy partners and patient services teams.
  • Represent the region in national sales meetings, strategy sessions, and launch-planning forums.
  • Drive customer relationship management discipline and ensure high-quality documentation of calls, payer feedback, and sampling activity.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, including Prescription Drug Marketing Act requirements, adverse-event and product-complaint reporting, and promotional guidelines.
  • Conduct regular territory business reviews to assess performance, identify improvement areas, and align priorities.
  • Manage the district budget and resources efficiently to maximize return on investment.
  • Maintain alignment with corporate policies, training, and legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure field compliance with company and industry standards, including sampling and Prescription Drug Marketing Act requirements, adverse-event and product-complaint reporting, compliant on-label promotional dialogue, and customer relationship management data quality and timely documentation.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in rescue medication, allergy, or products addressing medication adherence or administration barriers.
  • Background in specialty pharmacy or hub services operations.
  • Previous management of a geographically dispersed team.
