About the job
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Demonstrated experience in financial modeling and analysis.
- Actively pursue continuing education and professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst, National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, American Society of Appraisers, or Certified Public Accountant.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced experience in Excel.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
- Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Provide expert opinions and advisory services as an independent third party, perform business valuations, and assist clients.
- Support team members on healthcare engagements through data collection, client financial analysis, financial modeling, due diligence, report writing, and support for senior-level staff.
- Gather financial statements, operational reports, industry and market research, and other information needed to deliver contracted client work.
- Construct and take ownership of complex financial models.
- Perform financial analyses, develop financial models, conduct due diligence, complete report writing, and review work for quality.
- Participate in meetings and site visits as determined by leadership.
- Maintain project and deliverable schedules, communicate project progress to relevant team members, and promptly notify leadership of timeline risks.
- Help author internal and external content for articles and presentations.
- Complete administrative functions, mandatory training, and other internal responsibilities in a timely manner.
- Remain flexible and adaptable in work schedules and assignments based on departmental and company needs.
