Requirements
  • 2+ years of IT support / sysadmin experience, ideally in a startup or creative/tech-heavy fast-moving environment.
  • Basics of network diagnostics (DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi tuning) and conference-room AV/live-stream setups (internal or public-facing).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort supporting Mac-based environments.
  • Working knowledge of Okta or another SSO/IAM platform and business VPN administration.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Zoom, at least one CRM (Monday or HubSpot are a plus) and other common SaaS tools.
  • Bonus: experience with MDM tools (like Kandji, Jamf) rollouts, SOC 2 or IT compliance standards, or AV setup.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Clear communicator who enjoys collaborating with people across teams.
Responsibilities
  • Be the go-to for all in-office IT support — handling tickets, walk-ups, and urgent troubleshooting for onsite and remote employees across hardware, software, and systems.
  • Onboarding & offboarding - Provision and maintain devices, monitors, accessories, and user accounts (Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, CRM, Atlassian Products, etc.) for all new hires and contractors.
  • Own network infrastructure at HQ & VPN — including Wi-Fi, routers, and internet service; manage VPN users and troubleshoot connectivity for team and guest use, including offsite users.
  • Event tech - Partner with our Workplace and Events team to power tech for company events, including AV, sound, lighting, and live streams.
  • Prepare the office for scaling — recommending and implementing systems, tools, and layouts that support a growing team and future event programming.
  • IT asset & license management - Track laptops, peripherals, and SaaS seats; coordinate repairs, warranties, and vendor orders.
  • Process improvement - Spot bottlenecks and automate repeatable tasks to keep our IT engine lean and scalable.
  • Maintain best practices for data protection, password management, and device security across the org.
  • Security hygiene - Enforce device-security best practices (patching, passwords, basic MDM), document procedures, and champion SOC 2-friendly processes.
  • Troubleshoot and support printers, office displays, conference room tech, and other connected devices.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors (e.g. internet providers, IT consultants, AV rentals) when needed.
