Greylock Elementary School groundbreaking begins new chapter for North Adams.

Greylock Elementary School groundbreaking begins new chapter for North Adams. Recently, the Fontaine team celebrated the groundbreaking of the new Greylock Elementary School, marking an exciting milestone for both the project team and the North Adams community. The ceremony highlighted what makes this project special: its connection to the neighborhood it will serve for generations to come. Some of the project's youngest neighbors, students from a daycare located beside the site, were invited to take part in the groundbreaking after spending months watching construction activity from along the fence line. From excavators and trucks to the first stages of site work, the project has already become part of their daily routine. Their participation served as a reminder that Greylock Elementary School is more than just a construction project. It's a future learning environment being built for the students, families, and community of North Adams. With construction officially underway, progress continues to move quickly across the site. Initial foundation areas are prepared, early material deliveries have arrived, and inspections are complete ahead of upcoming concrete placements. Demolition operations also continue, with debris and topsoil haul-out helping reshape the site for the next phase of work. Fontaine is proud to partner with Colliers Project Leaders and TSKP Studio Architects on the new Greylock Elementary School project. Together, the team is building a modern school designed to serve the North Adams community for years to come. Colliers Project Leaders confirms new leadership.

Colliers Project Leaders confirms new leadership. 24 Apr 2026 Nigel Cooper has announced he will leave Colliers Project Leaders after 19 years, with Todd Jones taking over as Managing Director effective 1 May. Cooper is moving overseas to pursue new opportunities, and the elevation of Jones is part of a leadership succession plan that has been developed across the past few years. As part of this succession plan, Andrew Bowden will move into a new role as National Director - Project Leaders. Shane Davis, Founding Director of Colliers Project Leaders, says these changes will deepen their leadership capabilities and ensure continuity for clients. "We are incredibly grateful for Nigel's service and leadership within the business over the past 19 years from our time as Greenstone Group through to becoming Colliers Project Leaders. But as he is moving overseas to pursue new challenges offshore, the time is right for us to implement our structured succession plan that has long been a key focus for us," Davis says. "Both Todd and Andrew have made a significant contribution to Colliers Project Leaders and have outstanding relationships with its key clients, and Colliers International know they are well supported to drive its organisation forward. "We have a hugely talented team across our business and that is reflected in the depth and breadth of projects we continue to deliver throughout New Zealand." Cooper says he is immensely proud of what he and his Colliers Project Leaders colleagues have achieved during their time together. "In Todd and Andrew we have a natural succession plan. They are embedded in the core DNA of our business culture and possess enterprising spirit and ferocious resolve. They operate with high levels of integrity at every turn, and the business is poised to reach its full potential with Todd and Andrew at the helm. I wish them all the best for the future." Jones says his focus as Managing Director will be providing continuity for the company's clients and people. "Nigel has made a significant impact on the Colliers Project Leaders business and positioned it for future success. I am excited to work alongside Andrew and the wider leadership team, as we move into our next stage of growth." Bowden says he is looking forward to stepping into his new role as the industry continues to evolve. "The success of Colliers Project Leaders has always been a direct reflection of our talented and dedicated team, and the strong client relationships we have formed are fundamental to our achievements. I am focused on driving our vision for the business and leading the transformational change required to shape our future in an ever-changing property landscape."
