Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, quality, safety, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supporting Quality Management Systems, including practical application of ISO 9001.
  • Experience participating in or conducting internal audits, quality reviews, or certification activities.
  • Knowledge of risk management, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working with documented management systems, policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple locations and with geographically dispersed teams.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 and corporate quality requirements.
  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of EHS programs aligned with ISO 45001 and CAE standards.
  • Plan, conduct, and support internal audits, external certification audits, customer audits, and surveillance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable quality, health, safety, environmental, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
  • Identify, investigate, and support resolution of quality issues, non-conformities, incidents, and corrective actions.
  • Conduct risk assessments and contribute to risk mitigation strategies across operational activities.
  • Support process development, process improvement, and documentation activities across the organization.
  • Develop and monitor QHSE performance metrics, KPIs, and reporting.
  • Support emergency preparedness, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support to operational teams regarding Quality and EHS requirements.
  • Promote a culture of quality, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with regional and global Quality and EHS stakeholders across the EMEA organization.
  • Support training, awareness, and communication activities related to Quality and EHS management systems.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as historization, approval workflows, exchanging, updating information, and maintaining records.
  • Travel to operational sites across the UAE and periodically to Qatar, approximately 20%.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Quality, Environment, Health & Safety management systems.

CAE reports Q1 revenue of $1.17B, up 6.8% year-over-year, maintains fiscal 2027 outlook

CAE reported first quarter fiscal 2027 results with revenue of $1,173.4 million, up 6.8% year-over-year from $1,098.6 million. Earnings per share declined to $0.10 from $0.18 in the prior year, whilst adjusted EPS remained flat at $0.26. The Montreal-based company generated free cash flow of $104.0 million and maintained a net debt-to-adjusted EBITDA ratio of 2.27x. Civil Aviation revenue rose 5.6% to $641.6 million, though profitability decreased. Defence and Security revenue increased 8.3% to $531.8 million with continued margin expansion. CAE's transformation plan progressed during the quarter, including a review of strategic alternatives for Flightscape and plans to close four to six Civil training centres. The company targets $125 million to $150 million in annual transformation run-rate savings by fiscal 2030. Management maintained its unchanged fiscal 2027 outlook.
