Responsibilities

  • Execute the operating plan to achieve team objectives.
  • Provide immediate supervision to subordinates as they execute assignments using established guidelines, procedures, and policies.
  • Review team performance with team members at regular intervals.
  • Build effective relationships with plant support groups.
  • Conduct performance reviews for hourly/direct labor employees and provide coaching as needed.
  • Ensure the team executes documented operating procedures and follows established document control protocols.
  • Ensure the protection of Corning's intellectual property.
  • Implement and monitor training and certification plans.
  • Hold direct reports accountable for adherence to established procedures and process-control setpoints, and ensure they are aware of and comply with changes.
