Requirements
  • An Associate’s degree in architecture, construction management, drafting, or a related field.
  • A proficient understanding and knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, architecture, engineering, and construction disciplines, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection, and architectural and structural standards.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Comfort with traveling by flights, car services, and hotels.
  • The ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting, with strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong project management, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to complete complex tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Proficient knowledge of Building Information Modeling and related tools.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
  • The ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • The ability to lift a minimum of 15–20 pounds.
  • The ability to hear phone calls and communicate verbally clearly.
  • U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with coordinating the setup, maintenance, and ongoing updates of project models, templates, and standards in Revit and AutoCAD while implementing workflows, best practices, and client requirements.
  • Support project teams in developing accurate, well-coordinated building systems models that improve constructability, reduce rework, and support efficient project delivery.
  • Assist with managing and curating the firm’s Building Information Modeling content libraries, including families, systems, and schedules, while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and current software alignment.
  • Coordinate Building Information Modeling support for visualizations, diagrams, and renderings for internal reviews, client presentations, and marketing efforts.
  • Assist with staffing coordination across multiple projects by working with project managers and discipline leads to balance workloads and Building Information Modeling support needs.
  • Collaborate with engineers, the design team, and construction teams.
  • Support Building Information Modeling execution planning.
  • Assist with Building Information Modeling coordination and working group meetings, applying the Identify, Discuss, Solve process to track, communicate, and resolve coordination issues.
  • Assist with compiling Building Information Modeling updates and coordination insights and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two to three years of construction project software management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
