  • A professional license in education is required.
Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain an effective learning environment for high school students.
  • Know, assimilate, and practice the school's ideals, principles, and teaching methodology.
  • Carry out teaching work professionally and with initiative while creating an environment of confidence and respect.
  • Foster a love for truth and learning and support the mission of forming Christian servant leaders.
  • Plan and carry out lessons in the subject taught.
  • Select and use varied learning resources and technology to reach students effectively.
  • Implement differentiated instruction techniques to meet diverse student needs.
  • Develop and maintain a curriculum map and submit lesson plans to the department chair as directed.
  • Assess students to evaluate their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Assess student work and provide timely and appropriate feedback.
  • Communicate student concerns to parents in a timely manner.
  • Maintain regular professional communication with parents about academic progress.

  • Assist with preparing and coordinating school celebrations, activities, academic contests, and formation programs.
  • Work with the department chair and high school administration to implement a positive school culture and support the mission of forming Christian servant leaders.
  • Carry out assigned extra duties.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor with students.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the department chair or principal.
