Plan and carry out lessons in the subject taught.

Develop and maintain a curriculum map and submit lesson plans to the department chair as directed.
Assess students to evaluate their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses.
Assess student work and provide timely and appropriate feedback.
Communicate student concerns to parents in a timely manner.
Maintain regular professional communication with parents about academic progress.
Communicate student concerns to the department chair in a timely manner.
Teach students as an entire class or in small groups.
