What believers are saying

  • June 2026 award wins from Mexico and PR-CT strengthen automotive, aerospace, and industrial sales.
  • August 2026 SEMICON West outreach targets semiconductor customers with precision tolerances and high volumes.
  • July 2025 3D Systems partnership expands additive manufacturing capacity in Huntington Beach.

What critics are saying

  • 3D printer purchases concentrate on additive adoption; weak demand leaves expensive idle capacity.
  • Precision Resource depends on automotive and aerospace customers; supplier score drops trigger rapid volume cuts.
  • A major quality failure at Huntington Beach or Mexico destroys OEM trust and forces shutdowns.

What makes Precision Resource unique

  • Precision Resource spans fineblanking, machining, and metal additive manufacturing across global plants.
  • PR-KY ranked top three of 1,200 ZF suppliers in September 2025.
  • Precision Resource Mexico won Mexico's 2026 National Quality Award, proving cross-border quality discipline.

Precision Resource Mexico earns national Quality Award.

Precision Resource Mexico earns national Quality Award. Precision Resource Mexico has been recognized with the Premio Nacional de Calidad (National Quality Award), Mexico's highest distinction for organizational excellence, joining an elite group of 166 companies to have received the honor in the award's 36-year history. The Premio Nacional de Calidad (National Quality Award), administered by the Consejo Coordinador Empresarial, evaluates organizations across multiple dimensions including leadership, strategy, workforce development, and value creation. The rigorous multi-stage process involves independent external evaluators and requires full organizational transparency throughout. The Precision Resource Mexico team spent over a year preparing for and completing the evaluation, a process that by design examines an organization as comprehensively as any external audit can. "The process demands that you prove not what you say you are, but what you truly do every day," said David Carrillo, Mexico Division Manager. "That standard pushed every part of the organization." The evaluation surfaced what leadership identified as the company's defining strength: its culture. Rather than pointing to machinery or production metrics, company leaders credited a workplace environment built around intentional people development, where employee well-being is treated as inseparable from operational performance. Precision Resource Mexico is a precision metal manufacturing operation based in Saltillo, Mexico, and this year marks the facility's 20th anniversary, having opened in 2006. The Premio Nacional de Calidad (National Quality Award) was established in 1989 and has been awarded continuously for 36 years. Recipients are recognized not merely for efficiency or productivity, but for demonstrating systemic organizational excellence and positive impact across their business ecosystem, including employees, partners, and the broader community.
