Mango provides a white-label payment platform in Latin America that lets merchants accept and process payments while keeping their own brand. Its core products are API-driven payment solutions that integrate into merchants’ systems, enabling features like chargeback reduction, enhanced customer credibility, and independent promotions management. The platform operates mainly on transaction fees and API subscription revenues. Mango differentiates itself by offering a brand-preserving, API-first payment stack tailored to Latin American businesses and by supporting merchants with tools to manage branding and promotions under their own name rather than under Mango’s brand. The company aims to simplify payments for a wide range of clients—from small businesses to large enterprises—while contributing a portion of profits to environmental conservation efforts, specifically protecting the missionary jungle and wildlife.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Mango reported 762% growth and over $16 million in transactions by July 2026.
  • The company already works with 230-plus construction companies and distributors across Mexico.
  • July 2026 funding supports four new products and a 44% headcount increase.

What critics are saying

  • Mango serves a fragmented construction niche; distributor or contractor defaults quickly break underwriting models.
  • Competition from BBVA, CEMEX-backed platforms, and bank-led supply-chain finance compresses margins by 2027.
  • If Mexico construction slows, Mango's transaction data moat weakens and growth stalls.

What makes MANGO unique

  • Mango underwrites Mexico construction payments with transaction-level credit data, not generic lending.
  • Brick & Mortar Ventures led Mango's July 2026 round, signaling specialized construction-tech validation.
  • BBVA Spark credit facility gives Mango institutional capital access many Latin American fintechs lack.

Mango Secures $3M to Solve Construction Cash Flow

Mexican fintech Mango has secured a $3m funding round led by Ironspring Ventures to address cash flow issues in Latin America's construction industry. The funding will help Mango expand its credit and payments infrastructure, grow its contractor and supplier network, and enhance its internal teams. BBVA Spark also provided a credit facility. Mango's platform offers embedded credit and real-time risk intelligence to streamline procurement workflows and mitigate payment delays in construction.
