Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service or logistics is required.
  • A proven track record of handling multiple tasks and solving difficult customer issues is required.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel are required.
  • The ability to follow standard operating procedures with little to no oversight is required.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively assist external and internal customers.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and collaborate with others is required.
Responsibilities
  • Work with Roadtex terminals and warehouse services to ensure proper OS&D procedures are followed and mitigate claims exposure.
  • Work with operations, customer service, service partners, and shippers to resolve lost or damaged freight.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of shortages, including gathering evidence, documenting results, and communicating findings.
  • Manage the disposition process for on-hand shipments and refusals, and complete necessary paperwork and system updates within Roadvision.
  • Proactively communicate issues and work to resolve them within the team.
  • Manage relationships within assigned accounts.
  • Perform routine duties with minimal supervision while following standard practices or procedures.
  • Gain competency in and adopt Roadtex and Echo technology to work efficiently.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve department and company goals.
Desired Qualifications
  • A 2-year community college or vocational degree is highly preferred.
