Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Five years of experience with notebook hardware and circuit design.
  • Professional-level interpersonal skills, including the ability to adjust communication to the technical level of the audience and drive technical issues across multiple teams.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of notebook hardware, power, thermal, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to perform signal measurement and operate oscilloscopes.
  • Knowledge of x86 system architecture.
  • Familiarity with Linux.
  • Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Work with multifunctional teams on notebook feature development and build design guides, application notes, and other supporting technical collateral for notebooks.
  • Provide technical support during notebook development, testing, and production.
  • Perform hardware design reviews, including schematics, printed circuit boards, and power delivery networks, to ensure customer designs meet NVIDIA guidelines.
  • Install, configure, debug, and bring up customer notebook hardware.
  • Work directly with NVIDIA customers to analyze data, answer questions, reproduce errors, resolve or escalate customer issues, and maintain customer relationships.
  • File new bugs and reproduce issues as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with ARM.
  • Hardware design knowledge of PCIe, I2C, DisplayPort/eDP/HDMI, USB-C, I2S, and SATA.
  • Extensive knowledge of notebook hardware, circuit design, power, thermal, and electrical systems.
