About the job

Requirements
  • You have built demand generation for an AI product specifically and can discuss how models and agents behave, why evaluations matter, and where these systems break.
  • You have 4+ years in growth marketing or B2B demand generation and have built a program from zero as an early marketing or demand generation hire.
  • You have a track record of owning a pipeline number, including targets, results, and misses.
  • You have built demand in a category where failure has serious consequences, such as cybersecurity, identity and authentication, fintech risk, regtech, or similar, and can write accurately about serious risk and buyer behavior around breaches or incidents.
  • You have strong judgment on content, positioning, and messaging, and can brief and edit copy written by others or drafted with AI.
  • You are comfortable using a CRM and marketing automation stack and building reporting independently.
  • You are comfortable defining strategy and workflows in a small team with high ownership.
Responsibilities
  • Build marketing-sourced pipeline, set the target with the Head of Sales, and determine the channel mix and strategy to achieve it.
  • Adapt existing positioning on AI red teaming, agentic moderation, and content integrity for generative AI buyers; collaborate with the Founding Marketer and Sales team on the core narrative and own its presentation on the website and in sales conversations.
  • Improve the demand-generation performance of customer case studies and stories across written, video, and sales-deck formats.
  • Develop the blog, newsletter, and founder ghostwriting support into a growth channel through a consistent cadence, stronger distribution, and original research or benchmarks; brief and edit copy with the team on the core narrative.
  • Determine which events Cinder should attend, sponsor, or skip, and how the company should participate at and around each event.
  • Identify relevant news and industry moments and build timely campaigns to capture attention.
  • Own campaign measurement and reporting, including attribution, lead scoring, and inbound reporting to show pipeline sources and guide investment.
  • Partner with Sales on lead scoring, handoff, and follow-up to improve conversion of marketing-sourced leads.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience marketing an enterprise or B2B product to consumer-facing companies such as social platforms, marketplaces, dating apps, gaming, fintech apps, or B2C-facing AI products.
  • Experience with account-based marketing or intent-data tools.
  • Field marketing experience at conference scale.
  • Experience building a research report, index, or open benchmark that became a demand asset.
  • Ability to work across other marketing specializations, including account-based marketing, product marketing, or search engine optimization.
